Miami artist Roc Sol had the honor to paint a mural banner for the iconic thrash metal band Megadeth live during their concert in West Palm Beach at the iTHINK Financial Amphitheater. He was commissioned by Megadeth Digital, representing their Megadeth Digital collection, to recreate the iconic Rust In Peace album cover with an MDD twist, switching the alien and Vic Rattlehead. It’s safe to say it was a hit! It was an amazing experience for Roc Sol and his wife as they enjoyed the concert witnessing Dave Mustaine play “Washington is Next” for the first time in 15 years. Another highlight of the experience was meeting band members James LoMenzo, Teemu Mäntysaari and Dirk Verbeuren and showing them photos of the banner he had painted. The banner will be featured as part of the VIP experience for the rest of their Destroy All Enemies tour.
