Coral Square Mall Mural

For Simon Malls Coral Square Mall location in Coral Springs, our Project Roadmap Murals team delivered a full-scale mural installation that began long before the first brushstroke. We fabricated the wall from scratch, constructing a clean, custom-built surface measuring 48 feet by 12 feet, designed specifically for this activation. Once completed, the wall was primed and prepared for a vibrant, large-format mural that now serves as a welcoming visual landmark near the North Entrance by the Food Court.

Led by Roc Sol alongside muralists Dee Perez and Miss Lushy, the Coral Square Mall Mural was designed to reflect the bright, tropical energy of South Florida. Bold color blocking, playful elements, and clean illustrative forms create an inviting environment that resonates with visitors of all ages. The mural functions not only as a visual centerpiece but as an experience rooted in accessibility, joy, and community.

To deepen engagement, the installation evolved into a large-scale paint-by-numbers community mural, inviting mall-goers to actively participate in the creation process. Families, kids, and visitors were able to contribute directly to the artwork, transforming the wall into a shared expression of the Coral Springs community. This interactive approach turned the mural from a static installation into a living, collaborative experience.

The activation was celebrated with a live DJ set by DJ Frogie, bringing energy and movement into the space as participants painted. Guests also received mural-themed coloring book kits with premium stickers, extending the experience beyond the wall and into their own creative hands.

This project highlights Project Roadmap’s ability to execute end-to-end mural production, from wall fabrication and surface preparation to large-scale painting and community-driven activation. The Coral Square mural stands as a vibrant example of how public art can connect people, activate spaces, and create lasting impressions within commercial environments.
