Meet Swickie

Muralist | Visual Artist | Designer |Photographer

Swickie Fang is a Los Angeles-based multidisciplinary artist, muralist, graphic designer, photographer, and writer whose creative practice spans large-scale murals, digital fine art, apparel design, augmented reality experiences, and cultural storytelling. Her style blends bold linework, fluid color, and cultural depth into work that feels both intimate and monumental.

She was selected as an official artist for the Los Angeles Lakers artist series through Round 21, creating Día de los Muertos and holiday apparel sold exclusively inside Crypto.com Arena with AR technology embedded into the garments allowing them to animate when scanned. She was invited to live paint at Beeple Studios for Shepard Fairey's Obey Giant "Obey and Resist" show, and painted the "Wild and Free" mural in Nashville, a celebrated public installation that integrated augmented reality experiences.

Her visual art collections including the Ultraviolet Series and 213 photography series reflect her ongoing exploration of color, light, identity, and emotion across digital and physical mediums. She is also a writer covering the intersection of technology, culture, and longevity, and is associated with Proof of Culture.

In the Web3 world, Swickie is a pioneer. Her Bored Ape "Kiki" became the first-ever female Ape cast in Punks Comic, competing against more popular male Apes to claim a spot in the Elite 8, with her Ape later displayed in Hong Kong. As co-founder of Space Dust, the L.A. art collective and Project Roadmap's West Coast partner, Swickie co-produced Otherblock: Ape Basel in Wynwood during Art Basel 2022 and Otherblock: Supercharged LA during NFT LA 2023, two of the most celebrated BAYC community art productions ever organized.
