Muralist | Artist | Illustrator
Got everything I need. Here's the fully updated bio for the Project Roadmap website, pulling together everything from her site, the past chat version, and all the new accomplishments:
Alexandra Seda, known artistically as Miss Lushy, is a Miami-based Chilean-Nicaraguan artist, muralist, hand-painted sign artist, graphic designer, and educator widely recognized as one of the most prominent female muralists and street artists in South Florida. Her work is deeply rooted in Latin culture, hip hop, and community storytelling, expressed through vibrant large-scale public art that honors music legends, activates civic spaces, and connects communities across Miami and beyond.
A graduate of Miami International University of Art & Design with a Bachelor's in Graphic Design, Miss Lushy is experienced in managing all phases of public art projects, from concept development and design through fabrication coordination, installation, and community engagement. Her projects have transformed civic spaces, cultural landmarks, schools, hospitals, and commercial environments throughout South Florida and across the country.
Her landmark murals include a celebrated tribute to Celia Cruz painted directly across from Cruz's Walk of Fame star on Calle Ocho in Little Havana, a beloved cultural destination along the Little Havana Walking Tour supported by the Celia Cruz Legacy Project and the City of Miami, and a monumental 60-by-55-foot mural honoring Latin GRAMMY winner Willy Chirino, featured in Billboard and covered by Univision and Primer Impacto. In 2026, she was selected by CONCACAF and Adidas for The Kicks of CONCACAF, designing and hand-painting seven pairs of custom cleats representing Belize, El Salvador, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Panama, Suriname, and the British Virgin Islands as part of FIFA World Cup 2026 cultural programming, with the exhibition showcased at CONCACAF House in Vancouver and Miami.
In collaboration with Project Roadmap, Miss Lushy has contributed to some of the team's most significant productions, including the Verizon Hialeah "La Ciudad Que Progresa" mural celebrated by Mayor Esteban Bovo, the Verizon Project Love Letter mural in Atlanta, the Verizon Super Bowl LIX FanFest community mural activation at Hard Rock Stadium with over 500 participants, a live mural at HIVE Wynwood during Miami Art Week 2024, a paint-by-numbers community mural at Holtz Children's Hospital in partnership with the SebastianStrong Foundation, and the Simon Malls Coral Square community mural activation in Coral Springs.
Miss Lushy has also been featured at nationally recognized mural festivals, including Paint Louis 2024 with Few & Far Women, where she contributed to a historic 555-foot collaborative flood wall mural alongside 43 female artists from across the country and internationally. She participated in the Avenue of the Arts Festival, where she painted a full block-length mural and led hands-on workshops for over 200 students. In 2023, she was selected to paint a commemorative mural at 1520 Sedgwick Avenue in the Bronx, the birthplace of hip hop, as part of the global celebration marking Hip Hop's 50th Anniversary. She was also hand-selected by Wyn 317 Art Gallery to participate in Inter Miami CF's Battle of the Artists presented by Heineken Silver during Art Basel.
Beyond the wall, Miss Lushy is an active educator and Artist-in-Residence with P.A.T.H. (Preserving, Archiving & Teaching Hip Hop), teaching youth lettering, graffiti art, and creative expression at the Museum of Graffiti in Wynwood. She is a certified Hip Hop Kultural Specialist through KRS-One's Temple of Hip Hop master class, and was invited to discuss the art of graffiti and hip hop culture on the Grumpy OG's podcast in partnership with the Drink Champs Network.
