MEET DREW BORDERS

Muralist | Artist | Illustrator | Animator

Drew Borders is a muralist, illustrator, and 2D animator based in Atlanta, GA whose work is driven by a powerful commitment to representation, joy, and the celebration of Black and Brown culture. A graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design with a B.F.A. in Animation — Magna Cum Laude — her formal training gives her murals a distinctive character-driven energy that sets her apart in the street art world.

Drew's large-scale murals combine paint and spray paint to create vibrant, bold portraits of Black and Brown women that center joy, wonder, and the evolving magic of Black culture. Her work has taken her across Atlanta, Charlotte, New York City, Oklahoma City, Miami, and internationally to Bali, Indonesia.

Her client roster includes Verizon, AT&T Dream in Black, Coca-Cola Co. x ABV Gallery, Coco Gauff x New Balance, the Atlanta Beltline, Lakewood Amphitheater, the National Black Arts Festival, SCAD Serve, Bedstuy Walls in Brooklyn, Camp North End in Charlotte, and the AWALLS Mural Project in Miami. She has been featured twice on WABE/90.1 NPR's City Lights segment and headlined the Atlanta Journal Constitution's "Living" section. As a Project Roadmap artist, Drew collaborated on the Verizon Baker Street Atlanta mural as part of Verizon's Project Love Letter initiative.
