Meet Dennis βDeeβ Perez
Artist | Muralist | Photographer | Founder of Future Force Crew
Dennis Perez, known artistically as Dee, is a Miami-based independent artist whose work spans fine arts, graphic design, photography, and large-scale mural painting. A graduate of Miami International University of Art & Design with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, his formal training built the strong technical foundation behind his immaculate attention to detail and versatile artistic style.
Over the years Dee has collaborated with numerous organizations including Hospital for the Soul, Hispanic Lutheran Church, and Lutheran Ministries, creating impactful advertisements, banners, and artwork that serves communities across South Florida. As a core member of the Project Roadmap artist team, he has painted landmark murals for Verizon across Wynwood, Coconut Grove, and Hialeah, and has contributed to major productions including Super Bowl LIX at Hard Rock Stadium, Miami Art Week at Hive Wynwood, Art Basel, and Simon Malls Coral Square.
One of his standout projects is the Verizon Coconut Grove mural, painted alongside Roc Sol as part of Verizon's Project Love Letter initiative. Dee designed the piece to celebrate the Coconut Grove community by highlighting neighborhood landmarks including Vizcaya and the community's deep love for nature and pets. The mural became an instant landmark for the neighborhood and a testament to his ability to translate community identity into powerful public art.
Beyond the wall, Dee is a community mentor and educator who teaches breakdancing and the arts through his company Funkseon Breakin School and Future Force Crew β the same high-energy breakdance performance group that brings electrifying performances to Project Roadmap event activations across South Florida.
